Amakhala houses the renowned Big Five, which is made up of an elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, and buffalo. As well as the Big Five, Amakhala is also home to zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, antelope, cheetah, warthogs and a stunning array of colourful birds, that can be heard chirping and fluttering overhead, providing a soundtrack to your safari.
Each accommodation in Amakhala provides guests with personalized activities that can be enjoyed with the accommodation serving as a base. Safari Lodge offers each of their guests’ two stunning safaris a day.
